Default Paint Problem

Just looking for some input on this.. I had my 3inch Cowl hood put on like a month ago and there is already a chip in it and like tiny white dots but those arent chips and also the paint job wasnt exactly the same color, it looks a little off.. Now Ive been told that there no way to get the color exactly perfect since its black and since the hood is fiberglass.. Went for estimate for new paint job and the guy wants to charge me double then what I originally paid .... He said the little white dots could be from a dirty paint room.. Idk ....

Sounds like BS. Paint shouldn't be getting messed up in a couple weeks. If they had some kind of contamination in their paint room they should be the ones to fix it. It's their fault not yours.

are the white dots chips that are showing through to the fiberglass? i have had my cervinis hood for like 2 years and have driven in every possible condition and have no chips in my hood at all. Sounds like they didnt do a good job at all
