Unhappy Rumble in the engine bay.

So.... Today I left work in a hurry, I started my car and I let it rip seconds after turning on the ignition.

Long story short. My Car was shaking alot, I mean shaking kinda vigorously, especially on 1st gear. After driving 1 mile, I got home and I popped open the hood. The Car was very shaky and sluggish on my way home. The exhaust was, how can i describe it, The exhaust was "hiccup-ing", very unusual idle.

I checked the oil, looked pretty dirty. Looks like the previous owner didn't change the oil much.

I checked the air box, It was filthy, I cleaned it off.

(I know I know, things I should have checked as soon as I bought the car, but i didn't expect much service needed on a 2010)

So, I turned off the car, then turned it back on and now it works perfectly. Wierd. I Immediately went to get an oil change.

Do you guys think I have a serious problem? Should i go to the dealer, or It was just a hiccup in the engine?

I appreciate any thoughts.

well being that these cars have the drive by wire instead of a throttle cable which is a shame. alot of how the car runs has to do with electronics so if everything doesnt calibrate correctly and sorta sync i have had my car just run stupid randomly and it pretty much comes down to either the throttle or the vct both things im taking care of this weekend. he he he

Are those covered by warranty>?

I have an extended 7 year 70,000 mile warranty.

I only put 21K on my old 2006 V6, from early 2008 to late 2010, so warranty should last a while.
