Default Strut Mounts concern

Well, as per advice from the board, I decided to go with:
Tokico HP Series Shocks && Struts
paired with Ford Racing Mustang K-Springs

Then I came across this and became stupified momentarily and ran here for advice:
http://www.ninosport.com/Ford-Racing.../m-18183-a.htm
Ford Racing Front Strut Mounts 2005-Present Mustang/Shelby - M-18183-A

Had anyone run into this issue:
" Excellent purchase for lowered vehicles
Reviewer: JOSE SANCHEZ
I recently installed an Eibach Pro kit on my Mustang 08 V6. The handling is excellent. I start to notice a pop noise coming from the shock towers. The issue is that the stock strut mouns are to soft to work with lowered cars . This SVT struts are made from a higher durometer. The noise is gone and the car feels more crispy and the steering feels more precise"

I have a GT and not a V6, should I be concerned?

Yes, get the new strut mounts. Any time you take the front struts apart, you should replace the mounts. They really are one time use'ers.

I tried to get away with my OE mounts since I did mine with ~200 miles on the car. After a few 1,000 miles, the original mounts were making lots of scary noises, so I went to Rick at Downs and picked up a set of the FRPP mounts. They're much cheaper there than buying them from the normal parts counter. I think the set ran $60-70.

I changed out the mounts and now have 30,000 pop/click/thunk-free miles.

Thank you very much for the info. That's the information I was looking for...
And hope someone else from the club looking to upgrade their suspension will look into it and will find this thread.

When replacing strut mounts you have options (i know im a little late). Yes ford makes these SVT ones with firmer rubber. Steeda also makes a set with what I would imagine, even firmer rubber.

Finally, Maximum motorsports and ground control make camber plates. These are strut mounts that allow you to easily adjust the cars caster and camber which were previously non-adjustable. This will help you and or your alignment shop do a better job of correcting your alignment specs on a lowered vehicle.

Well, I bought them Monday morning, around 4am... so just a bit late, however, since I had a run in with CJ Gremlins, mounts were on backorder))) I just cancelled the order and went, as you advised, with Maximum motorsports caster/camber plates.
AM came out to be the cheapest place to get them.
AM FTW!!!

Default Adjustable Panhard Rod

With all the suspension parts laying peacefully in my garage, i realized... I need an adjustable panhard rod, to get rear centered, as i read somewhere

probably will go with this one, cause it's cheapest:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/jm-pan...09%29^1^114.99

Plan to buy it on 4/26... cause I can't wait to get everything installed...
So if anyone has thoughts on something better/cheaper or if a need it at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

If no feedback will most likely pull the trigger in the evening)))

This whole, go cheaper set up, turns out to be expensive... can't even imagine what would it cost for full coil over setup (converting rear)...
