Default Tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

Does any one know how to turn off the warning? Is there away with the SCT Tunner?

One guy had a suggestion. Take the sensors and put them in a pressurized can and keep the can in the trunk. I love that idea .. especially since I tend to change rims a lot. Any one know if that would work .. and where would I get a can to put them in?

Does anybody know where the sensor is located, and how it's powered? I don't plan to change my rims any time soon - if ever, but it would be good to know.

I know on my matrix there is a tpms module independent of the PCM that manages the monitoring system and that can be unplugged, and then u just ground the tpms indicator led wire and that disables the system and gets rid of the light, I'm sure ford uses the same concept in there system, u just need to find it on ur stang, I'm intrigued now will look around maybe someone has done it on a ford
