What i like about my 4.6 Thread

Found this over on another forum and found it interesting and figured i'd repost it. This isn't a bash thread so please behave everyone

- My cylinder #8 works just as fine at the other 7

-I take 6 qts of oil not 8

-I don't have piston slap in cold weather

-My manual transmission doesn't have a 10,000 post thread bitching about how much it stinks

-I am easily tuned and Ford doesn't void my warranty as soon as they hear the word tuned

-My rear end looks better

-Despite being expensive, my parts are actually a bit cheaper

-People don't ask me what year my car is when i tell them my engine displacement (old vs new 5.0)

-I was the engine and body that helped revive the pony wars between the big three

-I actually have a Saleen model created by Steve Saleen under the company name Saleen

-I was made so well there was almost nothing changed for 4 entire years

-The Convertible model looks fantastic, the new 2010+ ones ehhh.....

nitpick, but there were 5 years of S197, and 6 total of 3V 4.6 GTs.

Well I was referring to the new engine in 2005 being unchanged in 2006,07,08,09 where 2010 they "tweaked" it slightly. So that's why I said 4

well the 5.0 are not as fast as the 4.6 3v, and we are talking stock no mods
