Default wheel width 18X9.5 for the front.

been looking at wheels. shelby and steeda both have 18X9.5's for the front. i thought 18X9's were the widest you could go on the front. anyone know?

Some guys are even running the 18x10 grandam BBS wheels, (though you need different studs)

I didn't have any problems when i accidentally put my 9.5 rears on up front (after a long day of autocross, maybe i should pay better attention what goes where) ...but I swapped them back quickly and didn't do much testing. I do eventually want to run all 9.5's too

lots of info on rims here... what fits, what doesnt, etc here.

Its the tire that will not fit first. Roush runs 275's on 10inch wide rims all around. My Shelby rims are 9.5 which is a sick size, 255 or 285 on the same rim!

Yup you can run 18x10s I do! I think personally 18x9.5s would be good without and rubbing. Mine rub a bit.
