Forum Discount on Collision Work.....

We are offering forum members needing collision repairs, $100 off their Insurance deductible. This discount is available for all repairs of $1000 or more. In addition, we handle claims directly for, New Jersey Manufacturers, Selective Insurance, AAA Midlantic, and Palisades Insurance company, meaning no adjuster needs to look at your car with these companies. Just tell them your car is being repaired at my collision shop (J&E Auto Body Monmouth County) and they will issue us an assignment for your claim.

In addition we do work with all the rest of the Insurance carriers that conduct business in New Jersey but we do not adjust their claims directly.

FYI.....just so everyone knows this. Many Insurance companies will twist your arm into having your car repaired at "their" choice of body shop. Just remember this...."Its your car.......its your choice" You cannot be forced into having your car repaired at their shop. The reason most companies push their shops is simple.....to control cost. Its not for your benefit its for theirs. My wife Lori, runs my office and will personally handle your claim. All you have to do is call her @ 732.775.8986. If you feel the other person's Insurance company is responsible for your loss, she will also handle the 3rd party claim for you.

One call is all it takes. Just make sure you tell her that your from NJStangers and she'll take over from there.

Great thanks. Since your NJM, and this goes for anyone, NJM will give you a shop in your area based on your zip code. Just tell them you are taking your car to J&E Auto Body in Avon, and they will put the assignment in our mailbox.

I have geico now but am switching to njm soon. great to know about you guys, as mr noodley said hopefully i never need work but you never know.

Do you guys do full body painting as well? separate from claims i mean.

We do full refinishing but we mostly build show cars. The Blue GT we just finished was for a client up in CT. He had just bought the car in NY and wanted to build a show car out of it. The factory paint was decent condition but it had some minor scratches and dents that had to be repaired. The customer decided to have us fully refinish the car and add the Pearl White stripes which are completely buried under the clear. We are however building the car in stages to fit the customers budget. In the case of that particular car, Stage 2 wasn't suppose to come til next spring, but after hitting two car shows where everyone said, nice car but you need new wheels, the customer ended buying new wheels, which we color matched to the car, drilled and slotted rotors, and we also lowered the car. He hopes the change will allow him to start winning some trophies for the rest of the summer.

Stage 3 will be next Spring when we will be building a custom audio system for the car.

i have some subframe connectors and battleboxes with new upper and lower control arms to replace the crap factory ones. i got new hardware for everything. anychance your interested in doing the work, car is a 89 gt

Is this discount still in play for someone paying out of pocket? If I had roughly $1k worth of damage to fix, could I get $100 off without involving insurance?
