I'd like to hear what Junkman says, but since carbon fiber should have a clear urethane topcoat, I've always treated it like any other clear coated surface.

I've always just taken care of it like the rest of my car. Any decent carbon product will have a automotive grade clear coat on it.

Niptuk...
Carbon Fiber has a Gel Coat that is used to adhere the carbon together in a 2 x 2 fashion, then its triple coated in this gel coating that is something of a latex clear but more pliable and can be scratched with the wrong product.
I know, I took a class when I became a Trucarbon rep.
The fact is there are many products out there....but one has to be better than the other.
Right now I am using aircraft wax/polished used to keep planes nice and shiny.
I understand boat wax is good but always left a white residue...

So I thought adams had a product for carbon...maybe not..

Like mentioned above.. treat it like paint...

Lotsa wax and minimize swirls...

If it's bare CF, then I would look into a specialty product for sure...

Nah its finished but the gelcoat gets a milky cloud on it sometimes if the wrong wax is used..
I did it at first and had to switch product..
So far this plane wax is the best...very runny but leaves the best shine so far with minimal scratches...
So I wait for Adams to reply....everyone says they are the best.
