Default Cleaning Chrome Tail Pipes

What's up fellow Stangers,
I recently notice some dried up, stuck on stuff on the chrome tail pipes. Does anyone know of a safe product that i could us.

I usually use wad-type polish from Black Eagle or the Mother's Chrome polish. Just some strong buffing and it should get most stuff off of it.

as long as its stainless steel u can use brillo to get it off, done it on mine it looks great , even takes the discoloration off of them.

thanks for the info. I've been using a couple of products but its not helping. the tailpipes are original with the ford stamp im afraid to ruin them.

well god forbid you do mess them up, shawn has extras at the dealership im sure he'd be happy to sell you if you need them.

the stock tips i never could get to look nice. my aftermarket tips were either 409 or 304 stainless steel and i used meguiers chrome polish, good stuff

Blue Magic makes a metal polish that did wonders for my stock '95 exhaust. Safe on all metal.

always had the same problem, i think im gonna try brillo like racer24 said, cant imagine anything less getting the stuff off.
