Default Waterless Car Wash/Wax

OK, what are your thoughts on waterless car washes? Have/do any of you used them? If so, which brand?
I was talking to a guy who sells one of these products this weekend and it sure sounded easy and convenient. I would certainly like to take advantage of a product that would save me hours of cleaning time every week. My car is a daily driver and has to be cleaned inside and out at least twice a week according to weather. Probably put in 7-8 hours a week on this car....I'm told waterless wash would cut that down to an hour or 2 give or take.

I have seen it but haven't used it myself - tho I am considering having some on hand for winter. I can't imagine I will go to the automated hand wash bay up the street when it's 0 degrees outside. The salt has to come off the car though, regardless of how cold it is. We have no external hook up for a hose at our place either, so I'm thinking more & more it may be a good idea to have one of these brands in the garage.

This a waterless wash product only. And should only be used as an intermediate step between washings. Not a substitue.

I believe Tracey is asking about a WaterlessWash/Wax that is a substitute for washing and provides a degree of protection. Adams Waterless Wash offers zero protection.

In my opinion I'd stay away from any product that claims to do multiple steps in one. Detailing your car with a good product would be a better solution. Did someone mention Adams?

Ahh, I didn't realize she was looking for a substitute for washing. Thought she was looking for something in between washes. IMO there is no substitute for washing. lol. And I think someone did mention Adams!

Absolutely! That's why I mentioned a full detail. But we'll see what she meant.

LOL! I knew I was going to get beat up for this! Yes, I'm starting to feel lazy! And my car looks terrible with a speck of dirt on it!
Anyway, I was told you never have to touch your car with soap and water again if you use this product! Cant remember the name and dont have access to the brochure until the weekend...left it at the shore. It started with a "C" and the guy who sells it was from Hamilton and belongs to another mustang club. His legend lime car was beautful BTW, and he took 1st place at the Roebling show on Saturday. But its not a daily driver. So thats why I was looking for more input on this stuff. And yes, I will look at the Adams video...Pete

The fellow is Jim from TSS. He's car does look fantastic. I've seen it many times. The 32oz bottle goes for $20. I've been wanting to try it. Maybe you should be the club guinea pig!
