this is my first car 1973 mustang convertible
im about to go in tears
i brought car from a fella who gave me car title
i lost title recently and can't located previous owners what should i do??

Go to the DMV. you can get a new title.

yep, just file for a duplicate title... they may make your life difficult by asking you for all sorts of other documents which provide proof of address and such... But it can be done...

I would visit the DMV website and get the requirements of what you need before making a trip down to the hell hole though

oh yeah. esp if you have a bill of sale that will make it much easier... and i think that only works if the car was registered and titled in the state at some point... not sure...

nice! i had a 71 vert. my dad owned one too (a 71 vert)) when i was a kid. loved that car. it is what made me a M/A. (mustang addict)
