Default Dedication...

Some of you may know that I have been doing detailing on the side when I first joined this site. I plan to make alot more of these threads when I do customer cars...

After having to stay home yesterday and running lots of errands Vlad rung me up and told me that he finally washed his car and was taking pictures of it yet again...

All of these shots turned out STUNNING. I'm sure most will agree...

So now comes the real meaning for the title of this thread.

Vlad stopped by my house after his 2nd photoshoot for the week and I decided to sponatneously start the beginning of a long correction/restoration detail on my Cobra. No actual correction was done with the paint, but I made some headway with the mildew issue on the top.

The wash:
Megs Gold Class
Autozone Microfiber Wash Mitt

Wheels:
Orange Degreaser 4:1 mix (ran out of Eagle One Wheel cleaner)
Various Brushes

Top:
Blue Magic Convertible Top Cleaner/Restorer(Awesome Product for only $7.99)

Here is what ensued...

BTW, I DO NOT care what I wear/look like when I work on cars. Just wanna make that known haha

Wheel before.

Wheel after...

I'll get to the motor later.

Here is the top before. Notice the mildew above the window. You have to be especially careful not to agitate the stitched parts of the vinyl too hard and seperate the threading.

After.... Now I just need to do the rest of the top haha.

Afterwards we couldnt resist taking some beauty shots in the dusk.

And if this wasn't enough, we also installed a set of HID's that I had laying around. No more driving around without seeing where I'm going...

Some shots after we put them in.

Vlads car: 5000k color temp.

My car: 4300k color temp. (cant really tell the diffrerence cuz of the flash)

One last one for the road...

Thanks for looking!!!
