Awesome! That looks like a blast. Unfortunately I sold my bike a few years ago...

Nice Vlad!

Sorry I couldn't give you my truck last weekend, I knew you were most likely gonna use it for the event though...

How did you like the open track?

Awesome!

I thought that looked like Thunderbolt.

You'll LOVE Lightning! There's a ton of elevation change that you just don't get on Thunderbolt, which is pretty flat except for the slight rise on the back straight. The lightbulb turn on Lightning lets you really pile on the Gs, but my favorite part of Lightning is turn 5 which is a blind, uphill, slightly off camber right, then through sweeping turn 6, then you pile on the brakes under the bridge into 7 which is an early apex left with tons of grip, unless you get off line......

I like Thunderbolt too, my favorite part being the series just before the front straight. The line for the righthander onto the straight used to be right over the island. It was great watching all the SM guys once they figured that out. They'd catch air going over it. They changed the curbing in '09 to make going over the island pretty nasty. That's my favorite place to watch during the pro races. I go through that turn @ ~90ish in a C6, I'd assume the pros at the AMA race were well over 100 through there, under the bridge.

If anyone ever wants to go down for a member day, just let me know. (4 wheeled rides only, no bikes on member days). I can't host a day for the whole club, but if 1 or 2 ppl want to get on at a member day, I can get them in as guests. They just have to pay the $150 "blacktop fee".

Awesome! I had my car around thunderbolt. How did you do in the Jersey Devil? Decreasing radius turns are tricky.

Love the pic!
