Default Higu's 2000 Sportage

So after getting rid of the Mustang, I got a sensible, cheap daily. I was satisfied, for about a week. Now I am planning more odd things to do to this wagon. But for now I'll show you guys some pictures

It's a 2000, 4 door, 4x4, Auto.

4.77 Gears, 2:1 low range, 7 inches of clearance stock

115k on the dial

I have 6 codes right now lol. I know what they are and am going to fix them soon. And actually, this thing is good in the snow. Some beefy snow tires help I guess.

I need two o2 sensors right now I'm getting 70 miles to the half tank.

Ha my first car was a Green 1998 sportage.. I was doing donuts in a dirt parking lot one night when I blew the rear end.. The mechanic told me I shot a piece of molten metal through the casing... I had to stick it in 4 wheel drive to have the front wheels bring me home... oh to be 17 again

Future 'Plans'

(these are just vague for now)

3inch Suspension Lift (including all suspension pieces I need)
31inch Tires (prolly mud boggers)
Some tow hooks
Stinger Front Bumper
Light bar
Intake
Exhaust
Header
Top end rebuild
Boost
New trans once the old one blows from the boost
I'm good for now

The motor is a dumbed down version of Mazda's famous 3FE motor, which is known to be able to hold 600hp on the stock block. Redo-ing the top end on the Kia is necessary because, that is the part that got dumbed down with weaker parts. I figured a lift would be fun to do because I know a ton of people around me that can help with suspension stuff should i run into a problem, and because...how many other lifted Sportages have you ever seen?

I'm pretty sure the south american model has a turbo mated to the 2.0... instead of custom fabbing a kit.. it may be easier and/or cheaper to pick up parts from one of them? idk.. i never did any serious research into it cause I was somehow more broke then than I am now

No turbo model was ever offered on the 1g's. Just 2 variants of the FE motor, one for America, one for Europe/Asia, and a diesel for Europe

wow now I want to see this....you may need to add some power to the engine though. I swear my Grandpas couldn't get out of its own way to save its life...I drove it a few times and it was super slow....personally I'd love to see those plans you have, it would be very unique in cool, I just think the motor and rear may not handle the bigger tires without some improvements.
