Default The new redesigned E-Force CAI with pics

Here is my new CAI that i installed. Edelbrock in case you haven't heard, back when they first started producing the E-Force supercharger system produced every single part inhouse except the CAI which they outsourced to a friend of Edelbrock to produce. They ran into production issues which caused a huge backlog. I ordered my E-Force CAI and whole system back in March of 2010, got it installed May 2010, i finally received my CAI back in November of this year (i waited just a month or two due to financial issues i had) but supplies very finally available. Now Edelbrock makes their own CAI system and its redesigned from the original system which used a different style MAF sensor, and gave it the $650 price tag too! I believe mine was $400-450. Here are some updated pics of my engine bay, lots of Edelbrock stuff

I just need to get the Edelbrock Strut Tower brace that clears the E-Force (like 200+ bucks , then i'll be all set.

The kit came with a new MAF sensor however i need a retune to run that so i'm just waiting for my buddy Chris Rose to send me an updated tune and i'll be finally be set, for now

Without further delay, the pics!

It's an Airaid, well thats what it said on the box lol. It looks like Edelbrock worked in conjunction with Airraid on this project

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback

I'm looking to spruce up the engine bay a tad more for show season. I want to get rad extensions again but i will have to cut them to fit the heat shield but thats no biggie.

Any other suggestions? I've got a few options for the strut towers and would like some opinions

well lets see you could get all the moroso covers and tanks they are spiffy. as far as a tower bar i would say look at the che fully adjustable or the steeda both should clear the blower but having a stock hood limits you a tad. then personally i would paint all the letters on the blower to match the car... just what i would do

I like the Moroso tanks a lot, they are a decent amount of coin though. But as long as its polished and not chrome i'll like it

I need to replace my hood pins too, the lanyards have corroded, the pin holders have rust, the scratches on the top of the hood section. haha
