Default My '81 Capri (New look! Last Page)

Picked up my '81 Capri yesterday. 78k original miles on it, but a few issues. Still uncovering them, but the car is still driveable and i'll have it out Saturday. Spent the day putting the new tires on the back, putting a new tail light on, and doing misc. things to it. But hey, only paid $600 for it, so I can't complain. On to the pictars.

wow that's pretty neat, never knew what they looked like now, basically the mercury version of a fox (kinda), what are the engine specs on it? I'm clueless on them

Top of the dash is done, cracked and eaten away. The bottom is still in great shape, all the lights still work too. Headliner is done too, but other than that it's pretty decent. Hood has some rot, and there a nice dent on the drivers quarter panel.

There's also a vacum leak somewhere, as well as a leaking valve cover, and I think the carb needs to be tuned as well. The thing has a nice coating of oil on the one side lol. But for the price, it was worth it, who else around has a Fox Body Capri?
