Photo shoot at Lake Nockamixon, 2010 V6 and 2010 GT
Steve and I took the stangs to Lake Nockamixon on Saturday and he took a slew of photos. I posted some to my FB account but there are lots more on his photobucket account - he made the album public so I'll just post the link for you guys in case you are interested in perusing them.
I will post a couple pics here to draw you in - Nockamixon State Park is huge, and the marina area is really spectacular, even this late in the season. The park itself closes Nov. 1, but the marina is still open. Which leads me to a point I wanted to make - If we can get a good amount of club participation in October 2012 for the Top Dead show in Chester Springs, PA, Steve suggested we do one of two things afterward:
1) Go to Longwood Gardens for photos http://longwoodgardens.org/
This is south, near Chester Springs - if Steve could manage to get us entry to a certain spot for photos, that would be a pretty awesome opportunity. If you guys have not been here, I would describe it as The Red Queen's garden from Alice in Wonderland - just you know, in reality, and far, far larger than the cartoon conception.
2) Have you guys follow us to Lake Nockamixon - this is north of Chester Springs, just minutes from where we live. Since most of you would need to go north to get back home anyway, it wouldn't be way out of the way. There are lots of places in this park for photo ops and it's free. If any of you saw my photos from there in late October, you already know that the trees are impressive and the foliage is stunning.
Nice pics guys they look great together! Now you just need a white one in the middle haha. I actually saw a really nice 5.0 on the way to work this morning. What a great spot too I'd love to go there and get some pics myself.
