Default Slammed the stang

Front are tokico springs cut a little more than a half of a coil. NO isos

Rears are stock mach 1 springs cut about 1 1/4 coil... Iso on top

Even though we cut the springs, we got the stance pretty much DEAD ON.

-The car handles better and is much more predictable since taking
out the progressive rate rear spring that was in there.

- I now have NO more NASTY nose dive on heavy braking. Idk if
that's from the rear spring that was in there or the slight rake that
i had.

- The car rides pretty damn equal to how it rode before in terms of
comfort. I couldn't be happier with it. (idk if it will get worse or
what but for now it's great)/ Just a little bit bouncier, but worth the style and handling upgrade.

- The car looks pretty sick and i don't hear/notice any rubbing!

Nothing but PRO's to cutting springs so far... No CON's as of right now.. Car still drives straight, but i'm sure i need to go get an alignment

The car sits at about 25.75-26" up front and 26-26.25" out back depending on what kind of surface i am. So it's always either level, or slightly lower up front (which is exactly what i was lookin for). I used to sit at around 26.5-27 up front and 27-27.5 out back...

Enough chit chat, here are the pics.

This one is just a before pic for comparison..

I want the front another 1/4" down, but for now, i'll see if anything settles.

Thanks guys!

The sportslines offer the largest drop for a spring! Your car should ride nicely with those dampeners

hahaha kingflirt you're crackin me up. I actually did the springs at a buddies house and when i got home, my dad was outside and i told him to give me his beer and i used it for pictures. But you definitely need patience when cutting springs. Me and a buddy had a lot of fun while doing it so it all worked out. Drinking would have made the install real fun, but i bet our cutting would have been wayyy off HAHAHA!

I haven't gotten an alignment yet. It still drives straight, but i am going to wait a while before i go get one. I have MM CC plates on there now, so they offer a wideeeee adjustment.

The springs were cut using a cut off wheel (attached to an air compressor). It cut right through no problem!

It's very simple to install the springs. After having to do the front and rear twice to get the right ride height, the 2nd time we had the front apart in 15 minutes and the rear we had apart in 15 minutes. We had powertools though
