Track time starts at 8:30 and goes to 5:00. It should be fun. It will be mostly muscle cars from the 60's - 70's. I think I will enjoy this more than running with the Exotics like I did on my last time on track.

if it's not too expensive to spectate, this would make a nice south jersey meet. would love have a go on the track but with stock suspension and stock brakes i probably wouldn't make it more than 2 laps before the brakes fade.

There is going to be a lot of old muscle cars on the track so a new Stang should be just fine on track. My advice would be to change your pads and put racing blue brake fluid in your car and you will be good to go. There will be instructors there. You will not be running your car at 10/10ths. You will be at 7/10ths and getting some good instruction.

To do this do you need to be in any club or anything?

I've done several track days at NJMP. I have stock brakes, and was just fine. Sure some big binders would be nice, but I had no fade problems.

I have to see if i have anything else going on, but if I'm free, I'm in. I assume this is on Lightning, didn't check the link.. I prefer lightening, I like the elevation changes, turn 7 under the bridge, and the lightbulb.
