It is time for the annual Lighting Lap at Virginia International Race way. VIR is on my list of tracks to do in 2011. I will post up times after I do it ... maybe ....
To be considered for the Lighting Lap the cars have to have a major change over the previous year. Three Mustangs qualified. GT, GT500 and the V6. Dont laugh ....the new V6 made it around the track faster than last years 315HP GT! (man I hope I dont see any on the track this year
)
LL1 - Less than $30,000 (time around lap)
1 V6 Mustang 3:12.5 (this time is faster than last years Mustang GT. It won its class despite having a 114MPH governor on it. It hit the governor often)

2 Lexus IS F 3:05.4
3 Mustang GT 3:08.6 (Faster than Z51 Vette 3:09.3 faster than a Camaro SS from last year 3:09.5 and the SRT8 Challenger 3:16.3) yes ... it has a Hemi
