Default E Town Road Course

http://www.etownraceway.com/road_course.aspx

What do ya think of that?

Just like the other road course posted, this isn't too far from me. Pretty cool to do sometime in near future.

I'm assuming we have to pay the $225 for the schooling before we can get on the track as an event. Actually interested by this since I was always an avid car racing gamer...I just need to learn to brake lol (too much slamming into things in video games just because I wanted to go faster)

So who else would be interested in this? I want to try this out maybe sometime in late summer just for fun.

Hopefully be able to do the one in West Virginia one year.

I would "rent" the track but I need funds to do it probably plus we'll probably need to be schooled on how to do it. Just tossing the idea out there and the interest seems to be there which is good.

Autocross is the best way to quickly learn the handling dynamics of your car and build up confidence in your driving so that when you go to a track day you'll get more bang for your buck. I have an event coming up on April 11th and then a full season after that, and at $50 for non SCCA members and $35 for SCCA members, you can't beat the price. There are also a bunch of us instructors there that can ride along with you or even take you out in your own car at no cost to give you pointers and help you learn even faster.

Here's a link to the info on our first event, come on out and have a blast

Oh and here's an autocross that was held on the E-town road course which only happens a few times a year...
