Exclamation Englishtown Cruise Night Free Track Runs And More!

Trying to get a big group together for cruise night. Not strictly a Stangers event, all are welcome!

Here's the facebook event:

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=140904982669624

If you can't see it (should be able to it's public) then here is all the info...

__________________________________________________ ___________________________

******UPDATE******
We will be meeting at the wawa down the road from the track and leaving from there so we can all park in the same area.

Address for Wawa:

1891 Englishtown Road
Monroe Twp, NJ 08831-3235

This is actually the address for the paintball place across the street but you can't miss the wawa. Pull in and look for the group. We will be arriving there at 4:30pm and leaving AT 5:00pm to cruise to the track and park in a group. If you cannot meet us there and would like to know where we park call me. My number is (732) 939-5626.

When: Tuesday, September 13 · 4:30pm - 9:00pm

Location: Englishtown Raceway (raceway park)

230 Pension Road
Englishtown, New Jersey

Info:

Getting a group together for a cruise to Englishtown and racing!

ALL events are free. Helmets will be supplied for cars under 14 seconds as well. Fire jackets are required if you run power adders (nitrous/etc).

Events:

-Huge gathering of different types of cars
-1/4 Mile Drag Racing for all cars
-Burnout contest (all can enter)
-Rock Climbing (for the truck guys)

You don't have to race or anything if you don't want to. I probably won't because my diff is broken but that might change lol.

No B/S here, respect others and their rides! There will be a huge diversity in cars

Invite as many people as you want, the more we have the more bad ass it looks when we cruise haha.

If you have any questions shoot me a pm or post it here.

This sounds cool! I may be interested in going. Haven't raced my ride enough this year or pretty much the whole time I owned this car hehe! I have a question though. Do you have to be prompt to participate with the cruise/runs? I work till 5:30 (in Westchester, NY) and won't be able to make it all the way down till 7. If time's an issue I can try and leave work early.

It's easier to get runs in if you get there early but you can get there later and still be fine. They move down the line pretty quick as long as someone doesnt blow up on the track and spread stuff down a lane.

Might be able to make it, not sure yet. Probably have to bring the 99, don't think I'll have enough miles on the 11 yet... have to keep it under 5K for the first 1K miles.

I think that whole break in period is unnecessary. If anything 500 miles is more realistic, if that. You shouldn't need so many heat cycles/miles for all the internals to sit properly. The older cars from back in the day were a different story. These new cars/technology are more advanced. Heard this from tuners.

Also a maybe as stated on FB. Depends who all is going. If a couple females will go I may join in - if not, well...it would be hard to explain to my husband that I'm going to go hang out with a group of men for several hours....
