Island Dragway Meet - May 2nd - Great Meadows, NJ

With the help of others I am trying to organize a meet at Island Dragway for May 2nd with the goal of a huge turn out, and showing them we can overtake the track and surrounding area with Muscle Cars! I'd like to make this a big event....with your help, maybe we can get the word out to the owners Ford, Dodge, Chevy, etc.

i know that personally my last final is may 9th but i cant speak for anyone else

yeah following weekend works for me cause my finals are done on the 9th also but either weekend will probally be good since drag racing will help me relax a little before the big week lol

For those who haven't had the pleasure of visiting Island it is a great track. Staff is cool and the place always hooks. They move their lanes along nicely too, so less waiting around to get in runs.

the 2nd or 9th i can do, you could also look into renting the track for a day during the week, if you get 30 people i think its around $120 a person,just something to think about because its nice to go to the line whenever you want and not have to wait. The last time i went when my friend rented the track i did 6 passes and that was waiting 30 minutes in between.
