Default March 27th - NNJR-SCCA Autocross at the Meadowlands

Ok, so I really had NOOO idea which section to post this in, so I figured this was as good a place as any.

Is anyone going to the NNJR-SCCA Autocross at the Meadowlands on March 27th? I went to 2 autocrosses last year at Englishtown and have been hooked since. For anyone that's never been to one, it's a great way to just have fun and test the limits of your car in a safe, legal way. I totally recommend it to everyone!

Here's the link for the NNJR-SCCA

I'm moving into my new apartment that week so I'm not sure if I'll make it out, but I'm going to try. With such a thin schedule this year It makes it hard to miss anything.

Are you running in ESP again this season? That's where I'll be running this year.

Yea, I'll be in ESP again. If you can't make this one it's fine because it's not a points event anyway. They're calling it a "Test and Tune."

I ran H last year in my only event at Meadowlands. It was great fun. Hopefully later in the summer I'll have a vehicle I can legally compete again

Even watching is fun! I checked the registration and there's gonna be a Viper ACR there and a Corvette Z06, which will be great to watch do their runs. I remember at my first one there was a Cobra kit car and a Lotus Seven and watching those things go was absolutely incredible lol

Yeah the 7 was there when we went. A widebody Fox runs too. Also buttloads of Spec Miatas

Yea, that widebody Fox was ridiculous. The first time I went, he was there but they didn't let him run the first heat cause he was leaking something lol

haha, and that viper guy is often pretty wild as well. The CP mustangs are always the best show, Steve's mustang (the widebody fox) has about 18" of extra fender on the car and MONSTER tires.

It's a shame NJ doesn't allow passengers, I'd be more than willing to take anyone for a ride if it was allowed, especially at a test-n-tune. When my dad rode along in Philly he was giddy like a 9 year old the whole run and ended with saying "I had NO idea where you were going the ENTIRE time" haha
