Default My c4 swap!

Well i started my c4 swap on the 99 cobra. So far the best ive ran in the 1/8th has been 7.46 @ 88. But have hit 92 mhp. Best 60ft so far is 1.52. The issue ive been having is bogging off the line. Well the t-56 i had has a very tall first gear and i didnt have enough power to spin it up out of the hole. So im doing something ive wanted to do for a while now. C4 with Trans brake and an Ultimate converter 8" 55-5700 stall. Sold the t-56 and waiting on the parts to come in. Here are a few pics. And some vids of my fastest pass so far. Will hit the 1/4 mile in nov. hoping for some mid to low 11s on 91 pump.

Holy crap man... If you were closer I'd wanna snatch that t-56 away from you...

Which Longtubes are you using btw? Seems like you were able to remove the trans without removing them, or is it just because of the removable bell housing on the T-56?

Well the trans i sold already, it paid for my converter. The headers are MAC and even if the bell wasnt seperate i still wouldnt need to take them off.

That's what i figured, nice job slamming the gears home

Keep us posted on the progress, I can only dream of being able to put a motor like that together(at least for the time being.)

Oh and I forget, did you have the older B head cams in your car or the stock C head cams?

Good deal. I couldn't remember if you've ever cracked the motor open on this car.
