Question: I was reading somewhere that 96-98 Cobra cams might be a bit more aggressive than the 99+ C head cams? Would you want to do that to perhaps gain a bit more power?

Just wondering. Also are you planning on selling your stock upper/lower intake? I was wondering if it fits onto the B head? If so I guess I can just get IMRC deletes and use the 99+ Cobra intake to make some extra ponies.

Yea but only the intake cam is better has alil longer duration but just to spend more money on the install then on the actual cams isnt worth it. Im having my intake made into a shor runner so i wont be selling it. Just get your intake ported or have it made into a short runner and get a spacer and the deletes you should make good power even after 5500RPM.

Aha, cool beans!

Thank you for the info.

Do you think it'll be expensive for the porting of the intake?

There is a guy on SVTperformance forums that is going to make me a ported short runner he charges 750 for the 99-01 i dun if its same price for ur year. The short runner helps increase power past the peak power of ur stock intake. If you just have it ported its cheaper but it wont have such gains as short runner. When i get back im going to start doing some work on my car you can come by bring ur cobra and we can talk some more.
