Default Updates on my 99

Well its been a while since ive posted. Have some updates. First the car weighed in at 3030 with me in car, so just car is under 3000lbs. Dont think that its completely gutted, its weight u cant see.
Ive ran the 1/4 a week ago at one of the west coasts big events. Had a best time of 12.15 @ 115 with a 1.65 60ft. Now this is on 91 oct since we dont have 93 and the altitude correction was at like 2000ft. Car still has more but im still working out the kinks in the rear. Ive been trying diff things since i got out here lol. I have to get a 2 step to help the launch and adjustable shocks all around. Gona be welding in a anti roll bar. This weekend ive removed the pass airbag and the heater core. Ill be removing some stuff from the doors next week. Here are a few pics and vids.
The first run in the vid is my buddy with a 99 cobra whippled. So far his best 1/8th is a 7.29 and 10.98 in the 1/4. With 18in DR. Not bad.

This vid is at the 1/4 event. PSCA is the name of the event.

Here are some pics of the car as she is now.

My pass air bag delete.
So thats pretty much it for now.

The Cobra is looking awesome! It sucks you're still having issues with the 60ft/overall time, but I'm sure it'll be figured out soon enough. 12.15 is pretty good but it's hard to believe that a 2011 5.0 is faster!

..all in due time.

Looking good as always.

So how is the motor feeling out there in Cali? Is the short runner giving you the gains you'd hoped for?

The car feels smooth as ever. If only the trans was doing the same. Had a few issues at the big event. I had 3 qualifying passes and i only got one good one cuz the trans wasnt going into gear or i was just alil to fast on the clutch. but once the c4 goes in over winter then itll be bad ass. As far as hp numbers i really dun care what came up. Im more worried about the track times. But its deff very smooth on the track. I take it to like 7000-7100 rpms and it get there fast. Dont forget the 4.56 gear is helping lol. I have some parts in the mail to hopefully help my 60ft times. Ill keep ya posted.
