American Muscle Ad in MM&FF Incorrect Pricing!

FYI...January issue of MM&FF has incorrect pricing and American Muscle WILL NOT honor the prices.
Just called to order a chin spoiler and headlight splitters...the prices in the magazine are WAY OFF and American Muscle WILL NOT honor them so dont waste your time! I guess you can tell I'm annoyed by all the CAPS! I never ran across a situation like this...if the price is marked wrong it should be honored!

pretty big difference...chin was advertised 199.99, they wanted 349.99, splitters were advertised 84.99 painted, they want 119.99
I guess I kind of understand but not really, think they would have offered SOMETHING...they claim to have great customer service...the manager wouldn't even get on the phone. If thats great service...IT STINKS!

its usually pretty standard practice not to have to honor magazine misprint prices. i know you may have had an issue here but they do have excellent customer service and if you want to save some money just use out club discount

$199 is the price for it unpainted, $349 for it painted
$84.99 is the price unpainted, $119.99 for it painted.

Those are the exact prices i just pulled of AM's page, thats where the confusion came in. It was the correct price, just maybe not for painted or unpainted which caused the confusion.

exactly james. and yes what dan said too is correct. that is standard practice. they must have not proofread it correct and it printed.

We're sorry about the mis-print. Magazine ads also have a few month delay before they're actually printed, and this adds to the difficulty if there is an error. We're usually very diligent about making sure the pricing is correct and I'm sorry that we mistakenly let this one slip by. The pricing is correct in the December 2010 and February 2011 issues, so it was just in the January 2011 issue that we missed it. While we do have a disclaimer at the bottom of the advertisement for error just like this, we don't want to see you unhappy as a customer. I will make sure that everyone is aware of it internally. Either way, shoot me over a PM. We offer a forum discount for NJStangers members. Also, I'll get you in touch with the right sales rep and maybe they can give you a little deeper deal for our misprint.
