Default Anyone looking to install an ipad in their car?

This looks like a great idea, but requires some thought. Watch this:

There are I believe 4 other parts and the guys site has alot of background info. Like being able to have full optical audio and charging etc.

Have fun.

That's why they made it removable lol. You can just slide it out and unplug it(slack in cable).

This is maybe the only practical use of an iPad I've seen so far.

Have you guys seen this yet?

Looks awesome, but I am thinking folks won't be watching the road with this install.

Does look awesome, but... You need a co-pilot to run it. TOO many distractions for drivers already.

Yeah, this wouldn't last long in a car. He didn't mount it so it can be easily removed.

I would think weather is an issue as well. Overheating, and even cold temperatures effect performance big time.

The archos 9, similar to ipad, uss full HD, you can connect monitors in your headrests, etc and its half the price.

Even though I think its bordering ridiculous, people spend alot of money on stereos, and this can plug into your SYNC system via bluetooth. Opens up alot of doors.

Not convinced it is safe by any means.
