Default Back brakes done!

Rule #1 Have the right tools. Rule # 2 always set your emergency brake before you work on your car.

After the wheels were off, I could not get the pads out. So I called my cousin who owns an airplane repair shop at Morristown airport. (Shawn was not available) I told him I could not get the caliper off the rotor. He said a few things .. and said .. "I am sure the emergency brake is off." I said "No, it is set so the car does not roll. Just a little precaution even though the wheels are chocked" .. he laughed a little and said "Well the emergency brake is holding the brake on!" Man did I feel stupid.
Well after 2.5 hours I was done and road tested it. It works great!!!!!!

Well I am still toying with the idea of changing the camber to a more aggressive setting. It is at -.8. It can go to -3.0. I am not sure if it is worth changing it. I probably don't run hard enough to appreciate the difference yet. There is the time it takes to change it plus the cost of re-aligning it.

I will put my track tires on tomorrow or Thursday. Other than that I am good to go. I will probably leave very early Sat morning. Sign in for HPDE is 6:45AM. I am about 1:45 from Pocono so I will leave Bergen county around 5AM.

Are you coming?
