Default coolant over-flow

car started to over flow coolant out of the fill cap. took it to the ford dealer they did a pressure test and it was fine they made sure the head gaskets were not leaking with another test. ran it for 4 days ,and never over heated and still pushing out coolant, anybody have an idea.

Might just be the cap. You can pick up a new one from Autozone for cheap, I'm sure.

my moms Chrysler town and country did that about a week ago. i looked at every inch of the coolant system and found absolutly nothing wrong with it. it seemed like it just "burped" out coolant haha so im guessin the same thing happened to you. just keep an eye on your temp and every so often check the level to make sure you still have enough but i think you're probably fine

is the thermostat sticking?

rad caps do not last forever either - even low miles rad caps can fail, or work intermittantly.

I would get a new cap just to make sure it is good. Cheap and easy fix and a good place to start if they have pressure tested it and the system has the correct amount of coolant than it seems obvious to me that the cap is failing under extreme pressure. I would call the dealer and tell them it happened again and you would like them to just replacing the cap under warranty.
