Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has had any work done from Kevin Hand at Sansone ford, I have a $600 credit at the dealership and was gonna get some work done but wana make sure that he is good before I even bother cause if not then ill just order wheels or something else... Any input would be awesome, Thanks!
He's an awesome tuner and IMO does awesome work. My car was entirely built & tuned by him well before I bought it.
They guy I bought it from had Kevin install & tune his entire Vortech setup.
That was 6 years ago, and it's still running 11lbs of boost on a factory longblock, and running perfectly.
I have used MPH, Turbo people and Mustang Magic..................I now use kevin exclusively. By far one of the smartest tuners/tech guys I have ever met!!!

One of my friends recently went there and said he really hasnt worked to much on the new 5.0s which is what I have now and was a little concerned wether I can trust him...
As with anything you read on the internet, there will be bad and good. I can say through all the years (15+ now) the worst things that have been said about me is that I'm slow and may be a little more expensive than other shops. I take my job very seriously, and its more of a pride thing. I deal with my customers on a more 1 on 1 realm, rather than a car with a #. Searching google under "kevin @ Wicked" or "kevin @ Wicked Motorsports" will yeild you with years of praise. Im not trying to toot my own horn, but I've busted my ass for years to have this rep, and don't plan on anytime soon relinquishing it.
As for the new 5.0's, its an engine. As with any new platform its something thats learned and developed over time. Just like the 4.6l and 5.4l before it....what we did years ago and logic/science/development on that platform is very different from what we do now. With the 5.0l "coyote" its going to be the same. We dont see much traffic here with the new 5.0 crowd because they are too busy going other places due to internet buzz and magazine propaganda. It doesnt mean we don't know the platform nor specialize in it. Anything I work on after the second time I aim to specialize in. Ive had plent of "stock" off the showroom floor 5.0's pounded on the dyno for those reasons....to learn the platforms as Ford releases them. I was only the 2nd in the Tri-state area to do a Raptor Procharger setup start to finish including tuning (which isnt even polished yet because the available software avail isnt up to snuff of 87-2010 software).
Hope this clears the air. And thank you everyone in this thread for the positive props and feedback. It makes what I do all worth it.
