Default How to re-install dipstick tube?

Ok so I was busy with a header install right before I left for vacation and ended up finishing late at night that day, but the thing is I had taken the dipstick tube off and could not get it back on, I'm not sure if i bent it in a wrong way or what the deal was. Anyways I didn't have time to worry about it then because i was pressed for time since vacation was so soon. I now have the hole plugged up with a screw and have been driving around with that. Will this have any bad to it? And does anyone think I can get the dipstick on without taking the driver side header off? Thanks

If it creates a vac leak you're going to find out really quickly I'd get that guy back on there as soon as you've got the time

Its not vaccum. The only thing that would come out is blow by its not necessarily a bad thing. I would just get it on there for the priciple of having it.
