Default If your looking for a shop in the south jersey area...

I purchased my car in June of 2009, it has an after-market intake, exhaust and headers. The headers were installed by the guy's friend a few weeks before it was sold to me. Come October I start to get a whiff of fuel when I start up and a ticking noise starts. It gets louder and louder and I suspect an exhaust leak. I bring it to my local mechanic and he tells me everything's fine. I bring it to the Ford dealership where my parents bought their fusion and they tell me I'm crazy. Before I checked myself into an asylum I decided to check out Radical Racing down in Atco, and I gotta say he did great work. The headers were put in with the wrong bolts, the wrong gaskets and were leaking terribly. They were bent so he had to mill them and in the end the problem was fixed beautifully. So if anyones looking for a mechanic whether its regular maintenance or not go check him out.

How much did it cost you for the header work?

I've had 3 friends of mine get work done by Craig @ Radical Racing and only 1 has come out successful. its hit or miss with Radical...

Me personally, anyone in the Atco area looking for a shop, hit up Kevin @ Wicked Motorsports in Berlin, he's top notch!

It's so hard to know where to go, and who to trust with your baby and your hard-earned cash.

I went to a place that 9 out of 10 people recommended, and it was terrible. Misquoted, overcharged...then when I had a heart to heart with them a year later and agreed to give them another chance on another project (hoping they would work harder to re-earn legitimately lost trust) they again misquoted and overcharged me. I'm talking hundreds of dollars over the original amount which was quoted in writing.

Picked up the Mustang the same day my husband had to meet with a surgeon regarding his liver resection for colon cancer, so I just paid it and hated myself. Now it's rattling and I'm verging on an exhaust leak.
