Default looking for a reliable place to put 12" STRIPES ON MY GT

Hello, i'm looking for a good place to install le mans stripes on my 2009 gt. All "do it yourself" stripes seem of poor quality especially when it comes to car washes. I need at least factory quality stripes installed by a qualified person. The customer reviews of sussex and morris county dealers are very poor and quite scarey. I'm hesitant to leave my car in a dealers hands. Any suggestions for a honest dependable place to install stripes on a car that won't peel after a few car washes? Thanks, ray

Make it very simple. Viggs design in freehold. Does great, guaranteed work at a good price. He did my stripes and I'd go back anytime. Good luck!

I'm surprised that seems pricy!! I paid about 300 for front bumper, hood, trunk, and rear bumper...I guess it maybe is 500 if you do the roof too in which I did not

Michael Signs in North Bergen NJ.

He does them for $350 to $400 for the full car. I have seen a few done, I will be doing mine next year. Laser Cut stripes, professional installation. They do all the county cop cars, full car wraps and lots of other custom stuff.

I second Vigg - had mine done there, but yes it is $500 for bumper to bumper stripes.

However, they do a very good job.

If it is feasible, would you consider just having the stripes painted on? My vinyl is a PITA, and knowing what I know now, I would not do it again - I would just save up for a paint job.

Just my 2 cents....$500 is a lot of moolah.

Well if I'm not mistaken viggs will replace the stripes in the front if they deteriorate within a year. But I can't confirm that for sure. I personally thinks it dumb painting stripes on bc they will chip just as the vinyl will and you'll end up paying more to have them fixed. Only way you will avoid having chips is putting a clear bra on after you do the stripes

Oh yeah Eddie I know - but if I had it to do again, I would just save the $ and get the paint done. The headache with not being able to go through a regular car wash with the vinyl is just not worth it. And now I have chips in the vinyl all over the place so those damaged pieces are going to have to be pulled and re-done.

Not that you don't get chips in paint. I'm just saying - it's easier to take care of if it's all paint. Then I wouldn't have to scrutinize any new wax I get to see if I can put it on the vinyl.
