Talking New stripes and completed grille on my 2010!

Since I actually had a forum member PM me to follow up on my results (which was flattering) I knew I had to get around to uploading pics of Allura after the weekend of mods. Those of you that are friends with me on FB have already seen these, of course.

On Friday I went to Vigg Designs to have my stripes done. While they are not fantastically original, I do think the job was done well, and I think the stripes really change the look of the car. On Saturday my brother completed the install of the new grille for me as well. I only have a few pics - wanted to do more but the car ended up with pollen all over it in about 2 seconds. I also have an issue of damage on the right front that I need to have addressed. That blemish on the car really sucked some of the enjoyment of Friday right out of me - I feel terrible that it happened to the car at all (how it did I don't know) and I feel equally terrible that I have to drive the car around like that until I can afford to fix it.

Anyway, enough of my whining and on to pictures!

That looks great! The reflection off of the grille(s) is awesome.

LOL! I have definitely caught people looking, particularly other mustang drivers! I am sure you get lots of looks as well!

And yeah Vigg was great - they were waiting for me when I pulled in, knew who I was - we went over everything I wanted and they had it done in record time because they had no other jobs that day to distract them. When Hollie called me to tell me it was done she sent me a picture at my request, and the car was facing outward in front of the shop when I got there so I could really get the full impact driving up to it. They also went over care instructions with me, which I appreciated.

light coat of primer touch up. a few light coats of blue to build up the height. last coat be higher than the scratch itself.. tiny whet sand with 1200 wet/ sand paper (make sure it is really wet) to take it down a hair very light sand not too much now! buff it out with swirl mark remove, repeat. repeat. shiny... good. ...and it will be fine forever.

I like this idea. I'll have to see how it turns out!
