Default Pulley Swap Question

I was thinking of swapping out my stock pulleys in my 2000 GT. The engine is stock except for the CAI. Would doing the swap give you any noticable changes at all in any way or is something that goes more in line with other mods needed for any benefits? I was looking at the BBK or Steeda pulleys if this info helps as well.

ehhhh i would do them but i doubt you will feel a difference. It will rev up a bit faster. It isnt going to really be noticable in accel.

go with the steeda ones.

Why Steeda over the BBK? Is it a better product or lighter? Thanks

Just prefer Steeda. They race everything they make. IMO higher quality. BBK is fine too. I have parts from both on my car.

do a search on the net. steeda vs bbk underdrive pulleys and see what comes up..

I believe the bbk's are piggyback style.... Not a good thing.. Steeda gets very high marks in fact never heard bad except one that had come apart and they got them replaced for free..

found this too. first shot. lol

I looked them up on American Muscle, There is a 50-60 dollar difference, but the Steeda come pre balanced. So it looks like less time messing with the Steeda than the BBK and you need your old counter weights for the BBK. Which might be a real pain to get off as they are on an 11 year old car.

Default pulleys

get the steeda. bbk r piggybak that will do some wobble. American Muscle i think has a video of a car with the seeda kit installd and the same car with the piggybak style. its up to u but i think the best way wuld b the steeda kit.

you guys kill me with paying for a name sometimes! there are so many companies that make pullies yet steeda is what everyone refers to. How about asp? they make badass pullies i mean dont get me wrong steeda makes some qaulity stuff but there are other options other then the first name that comes up on google
