Default speedo is fast

just wanted to know if anyone knows how to calibate a speedometer i have a 2008 mustang gt 300. Do i need a tuner to do this or does anyone have a tuner to do this. Speedo is 10 miles an hour fast then what i am really going. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks Danny

have you changeg anything in it like gears or tire sizes? to do that you need a tuner cause tuners are married to the car you can't borrow someones tuner to do that, thats now how it works hope this helps you

yes you have to buy one did you get the car used? did the last owner have a tuner or he just changed the gears and if so you need to know what gears got put in so you can do that with the tuner

2 things, gears or size of tires will throw off your speedo. you can get a speedo recal tool but its best to get a tuner, while you're at it, a CAI and tuner actually

If you don't have a tuner yet... get one no matter what. Once you do tune the car you will be AMAZED there was that much more pep in the car.
