I have deemed the fogs unusable in the stock form. Any attempt causes relentless oncoming flashes. I've attempted the Eleanor grille, but install considerations did not make me happy. I figured that having the Fogs further from the headlights, oncommers would realize that they were not the high beams.
I am assuming that if the fogs were yellow, there would be no guessing whether or not the high beams were on, and the flashing would stop. I don't want the fogs to look yellow when they are turned off, so I am considering just getting yellow bulbs.
Anyone have any experience/input regarding just yellow bulbs? [ ] O - O [ ]
Well, you can get cheapie fogs from ebay like I did, check these out, I have a video on them. So far I have had no problem whatsoever.
The are plug and play, very easy installation, and have super slim ballasts, U.S. Seller Fast shipping only $42 bucks shipped. They are 100% Waterproof. 3000K Are whitish yellow, oncomers see whitish yellow, but when your driving it lights up the road with an intense yellow. So far, I have never been flashed with oncoming traffic and I frequently use the foglights only to drive around.
Yeah worst case, you can get an overlay tint for your fogs to dim them a bit....will make it less suspectible to being flashed, but coming from a guy with a lifted F150, that's a daily occurrence...not much I can do about it since the lights need to be angled in a way so I can see the road not intended to blind others but rather to see deer and other things. I had the chrome in the housings and headlights painted black but now I can't see much at night so hids are going in and getting water sealed.....so it starts all over lol
i have nokya yellow fogs, the bulb is yellow but from far away you dont really see any yellow reflected in the housing, which i like plus it is a pretty feep yellow without any overlay tint needed and i got them for 16$ on amazon
