Default 2013 Ford Escape in NJ configurator powers up, prices subject to change

Learn more about the new 2013 Ford Escape in New Jersey. Before you buy a 2013 Ford Escape in NJ or NY, discover the options on this new 2013 Ford Escape in New Jersey today!

Filed under: Car Buying, Crossover, Ford

The configurator for the 2013 Ford Escape NJ is live - or rather, a survey masquerading as a configurator. On the introductory page of small print, there are three crucial bits Ford wants you to know: that "the information on this site is for survey purposes only," that "features and prices for the final 2013 Ford Escape will only become available when the vehicle goes on sale in 2012 and are subject to change," and that "information on this site may change frequently, so don't be surprised if things look different next time you visit."

Once you get past all that you can do a little bit of configurating, from the $22,470* base Escape to the $32,120* Titanium Escape with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost and all-wheel drive. Checking all five options boxes, the biggest price tag we could come up with was $36,595*, which got us treats like a full-leather interior, navigation and Class II trailer tow. Many have made comments on the styling of the new Escape, but we won't be surprised if we see quite a few of these on the road.

Man as far as Fords go this one sucks.... I don't like it at all, definitely like the older escapes alot more. This one looks exactly like every other small SUV out on the market now...

That's exactly what I was thinking.

All I have to say is get used to it. The form of SUVs has to morph into something more aerodynamic to meet the upcoming CAFE gas mileage requirements. The bricks on wheels we know and love won't cut it.

I don't hate it and I don't love it based on the photos. Then again, I felt the same way about the 01 Escape when it came out. Then that design grew on me and I ended up getting one. I like the overall shape but I don't like some details (ahem... fender vents & hood creases). I do like the look of new interior. It looks like it's of much better quality. I've read reviews by people that have been in it and their only complaint is it feels tight in the drivers seat compared to the old Escape. This is because it's designed more like a tall small car rather than a small SUV. It's a total rethinking and you need to look at it with a different mind set. This ain't your dad's SUV....

Screw the environmentalists. It's all horse shit anyway. A single NATURAL volcano can and has done more damage in a few months than we have managed in our entire existence. /rant

I'll be getting one of these thankyouverymuch lol

Robs right! The 00-06 body style is probably the best (not sure if I got all the years) but I'm not a fan of the new one.....does look like a Subaru or another Crossover....thought Ford had the Edge for that? But with all the modern technology Ford has in them now, they'll keep selling

I'll take that....if they really want to help the environment all they have to do is give on the stupid Hybrid project since those batteries cause more harm than they are worth it.
