Anyone looking for the 2013 Shelby GT500 in New Jersey. Would you buy a 2013 Shelby GT500 in NJ over a Camaro or Challenger?

In case any of you guys haven't seen this.... Looks like the GM/ Ford HP war is back! Ford sure isn't going to take any beatings against the new ZL-1 if they come out with this.

Looks pretty much the same as the 2012 ...still love it though, I think the rears are finally growing on me

Dear Ford,

Can we at least be done with the 2012's being sold in the winter of 2011 before hearing of the 2025 model?

One advantage ford has is having Carroll Shelby tho. GT500s are cool but it seems like the new 5.0s are just as fast if not faster especially with some bolt ons.

yeah me not so much... 05-09 still looks more mustang than the new models but if cervini makes that tail light conversion i would love it. that being said the front has really grown on me though.

looks best in black imo still as it blends all the cheap looking plastic around the bottom in more..

true but nobody knows the hp potential of a new 5.0 hitting 1000 hp. that has been proven over and over again with he 5.4 and the 6060 is a better tranny imo. too many broken mt82's out there. they will fix it in time but i would not want a '11 or '12 manual right now.

i thought the 2011's have a brand new trans now.

the shelby is still using the tr6060... the getrag mt82 is the new 6 speed that is behind the 2011 up mustang and GT. lots of issues with that 6 speed. the tremec tr6060 is a pretty solid unit and other than a few issues it is clearly the better of the two trannys for manuals out on the market. the getrag is made in china so it is probably much cheaper to produce hence the reason why they put it in the mustang.
