now that you clicked i can tell you that what i was referring to by the 4.0 was not the size of the engine, but the size of the supercharger! you can pay $10,000 for an optional twin-screw Whipple with a displacement of 4.0 liters replacing the stock 2.3 liter blower.

Oh, and the cage in the car is good for up to 8.5 seconds

Downs Ford is getting 4 of them. Didn't read the link, but Rick told me they are planning on making only 50. He's sold 2 but is looking for 2 more buyers. $100,000 for an 8.5 sec, turnkey car.

wow 4 of the 50 they make now thats awesome. And all things considered, thats pretty cheap for a 8.5 sec capable car. i mean how much is a Ferarri or Lambo? and i don't think you'd be finding them coming with a roll cage stock either
