Concept cars

I've read about cars in the internet and I noticed something interesting but I guess this is pure myth... Do mustang have concept cars? I don't know why but that car was not realistic in its pictures.

scottie, very few cars wind up looking exactly like the concept vehicles that they are borne from. be it cost to manufacture, tech ability to manufacture, or features the public doesn't rate well.

I see... so what is the real purpose of these concept cars at all? for fun? or for target features of a car that can't be achieved? I hope there are concept cars that can come true someday.....

They are design studies that show concepts and ideas so the car companies can gauge reactions at shows. Many don't go into production but they help to form the direction future designs go in. Since the concept cars don't have to pass any safety standards or federal regulations, they can get a bit crazy with the designs. Unfortunately, making any vehicle comply with the standards & regulations and hitting a price point typically kills the wildest design ideas...
