Default GRABBER GREEN FOR 2013 BOSS Mustang NJ and '70 STRIPES

Checkout the new Grabber Green 2013 Boss 302 Mustang in New Jersey. Learn more about the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 in NJ and NY!

very nice i like it

69 c stripes are gone but the 70 stripes come back.

From Mustang Evolution:

Quote:
When SPEEDTV aired a special on the 2012 BOSS 302, a few things did not go unnoticed by the guys at MustangsDaily and StangTV. During a walk through the design studio halfway through the one-hour episode, a poster on the wall is clearly a 2013 BOSS 302 with different paint schemes including a super bright green known as Grabber Green that was only available on the 1970 BOSS 302.

Not only does it look like Grabber Green will be a new color for 2013, but the old-turned-new Grabber Blue will be available, as well as Race Red, Performance White, and Yellow Blaze Tri-Coat.

More changes are coming! Say goodbye to C-stripes and hello to retro stripes! The new stripes appear to be running along the bottom sides and then slanting up the fenders accompanied by the “BOSS 302″ logo and across the hood with another stripe reaching down toward the grille. Check it out!

very weird. anyway, i am glad to see Ford bring back the color and the '70 stripes even though I am more of a fan of the '69 "C" stripe.

I just hope they get the color right. The original was much darker and not as florescent as the one in the pics..

How cool would it be if they made the a special 429 BOSS like they did in 1970 and used the 5.4 but did not supercharge it and instead it came with ported heads and a built bottom end and outrageous lopey race cams... A special intake manifold that would allow it to rev out to 7800 RPM hahah! It would have a huge hood scoop that would throw air right into the intake box and have simple lettering and numbers on the side. Racing seats, make the car light and as stiffer than even the Laguna... with a few creature comforts maybe a/c... Roll up windows and basic interior. No Nav or Radio but instead hi end full sweep gauges and a speedo that went to 200mph. A shift light built into the console, Electric Power Steering, Lightweight wheels and big brakes. AND... sell it for around the cost of the Current LS BOSS...

Well yeah kinda but not really.. I want a little more of a street car than the CJ or FR500's... but more of a race car than the current Boss.. lol I would still want it to retain the factory plastic and door panels, carpet and a/c for everyday comfort... Much like the original 429 BOSS.. Just get rid of all the power options and leather for some weight savings and give us the big aluminum motor.
