I dunno, I think it's a boss. I don't understand why all the press is saying "it flows air to an intercooler" that's just the GT/CS bumper that all the roadrace guys are using to get air to the brakes. Looks like a race package complete with tow hitch for tire trailers (even though thats most likely for test equipment). but if one of those pillar gauges says "boost" I'll stand corrected.

yea the boss has a 9k tachometer too. But ya never know. i know there is a lot of hype and stuff about all the new possibilities but the fact still stands no one knows the longevity of these new 5.0 under boost. The highest i have seen them pushed is about 7psi i believe, which is a sick amount of power for a street car cause you're talked 550 at the tires easy.

but like i say, where there's smoke, there is fire

Yeah have to agree with jim when i first saw this i though it was a gt/cs or boss and with the boss around the corner who knows. Would be nice to see some better pics of it but maybe more will turn up. Also idk y alot of people are looking into s/c and t/c i have a feeling that if u change cams and stuff like that that u can get some pretty sick power. I know in the boss they did work with the cam and other stuff which changed the 5.0 into a higher reving more power beast with just a little tuning. I will be waiting for the day i see a built 5.0 all motor mustang lol

ah, but you are forgetting one reason why cams aren't on the top of people's list. They are twice as expensive as the ones from the sub 2010 4.6 engines, because the 5.0 has two sets of cams, so thats 4 cams that you have to replace, and tune for which i heard is giving tuners a run for their money.

Strapping on a blower isn't nearly as invasive and you yield more power and have upgradability.

to each his own but from a $-HP ratio i prefer the power adder but i'm biased

Yeah I have always been about all motor. I think tuners will find out how to do it soon and never knownparts can always get cheaper. Also I wouldn't mind the extra money cause I know it would be something original and with playing with some things can probally get even more power out of it then a power adder. Idk I have always lived by the saying s/c and t/c are for people who don't know how to build a motor but that's just me. Also just think the power u can get if u build up the motor and then s/c if u want would be alot more hp then just throwing a s/c and won't have to worry about to much boost from the s/c hurting the motor unless u really crank it up

boost doesn't hurt motors, torque snapping and breaking stuff created by boost hurts motors

and to each his own, thats why building mustangs is so much fun. to me its all about the $/HP ratio. you can't beat a blower/turbo that way. It'll more then exceed the limits of the stock parts anyway.

Yep to each there own. Guess for me i like built motors since i have been around the track since i was a little thing and always see the all motor cars there be consistent and winning all the time. Like this one guy who drives his 9 sec all motor car from ny to run at etown then drive it home lol so its just what u like
