Default Club Garages?

I was thinking about this the other day, should we find a certain place to get all of our work done? I mean like a place where all of our club members go for engine work? Maybe a certain body shop for paint and exterior mods? I know everyone has their own place, but I was thinking if we all gave our business to certain places, we could get a group discount. When I was part of BMC, we had a local shop in New Brunswick that did all work for 50% off the labor cost because we gave them such a volume of business. I also understand that some of us are restricted geographically, so maybe we could approach a few shops, some in central jersey, and a few in north jersey. I think if we restrict our business a bit to certain places, we can definitely help build a good customer relationship to even get better discounts....

I currently get my work done at a Meinike in Eatontown....they did my exhaust install for around $100....like I said, this is just an idea....

"I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back. I want to be on you." :P

That would be a great idea. Like a community garden. But a place for grease heads to work on cars. I'm installing my sequentials right now. How cool.

Discussing my "Stage 2" upgrade with Hunter, my son. He thinks I'm nuts!!! A sneaky snake, he calls it.

short of machine work, welding that requires certifications and paint work - I do everything at my house. If anyone needs a hand, I'm always willing.
