Default Mustang Suspension shop

Hey guys, i wanna do some suspension upgrade to my 2012 boss in the coming month. therefore, i wanna do some homework before i pull the trigger.

are there any shops that specialize in mustang suspension? to me the way the car handles is the single most important aspect of driving. I want people who have experience and vast knowledge of mustang suspension to work on it. i don't mind paying a little more or travel a little further as long as i can get top quality work done.

Thanks for the help guys!

In Farmingdale, the Front End Shop.

They do awesome work, know what they're doing, and have the ability to work with custom suspensions.
I had them fix my truck and I was quite happy with the work.

Thanks for the recommendation, Ang.

We just finished Howie's '07 and Alex's '11 as well. We certainly know our way around Mustang suspensions here.

What were you thinking of doing to your BOSS, ihatepotholes?

i know that FRP is coming out with springs specifically for the Boss. therefore, im thinking MM camber plate, springs and either an adj panhard bar or a Watts link.

i don't want my car to sit unevenly after the drop, apparently this is a common "problem" with SRA vehicles. so I need the shop to install everything and adjust the panhard bar or the Watts link, and an alignment.

what kinda equipment do you guys use for alignment?

I had them fix my truck and I was quite happy with the work.

I used to work exclusively with them because they weren't afraid to work on modified cars... I hate getting alignments because it is the only thing I do not do to my car myself. After a very expensive alignment my car continued to pull, their mechanic's answer was simply "These cars, they have tight ratio steering boxes so they will pull, my truck pulls a lot too"

They also always had a way of finding that "it was close to spec, but we need to spend an extra hour rounding the bolt holes out enough to get it right, you'll see it on the bill" I'm not saying definitively they were lying or exaggerating, but I've sent a lot of cars there and almost every time that was their answer.

The final straw was when I asked for 1.25* negative camber, even after I explained how I drive the car, he was animate how it was "too much"... and when I got the car back it was under a degree.

Since then I tried another place, but I'm still not really happy with it. Next time I'm finding a guy who will let me stay and go through it with him.

If you are hardcore into handling, Watts link is where you wanna go for sure. The boss right outta The box can pull a 1G. And you'll want to upgrade the tires too, they are often overlooked in upgrades to suspension
