Cool 2003 GT Coupe Exhaust options?

Hey Everyone

Im looking into purchasing a new exhaust system for my car, Im not sure which one to get so figured Id ask the people who know lol.

Im looking for a LOUD deep exhaust that has that nice bubbly sound at idol, but when you get on the pedal it sounds fierce

As for the price im looking under 1300 if possible lol

Thanks

Troy

If you're looking to do just axle/catback you can go with SLP Loudmouths, they sound awesome on the 2V

Check out my vids...

I have an 02 Gt and my setup is bassani high flow cats, bassani x-pip, and Borla Stinger cat back system.

Specifically

And this one also gives you a decent idea of the sound

I don't have any driveby vids yet though

oooh, you like what I like which is why I got the Borla Stingers Catback I love this catback, nice aggressive rumble at idle and barks when you romp on it

Check out this vid for a comparison:

I have installed BBK LT headers and an o/r H-pipe. Stick with the H-pipe, better old school muscle sound. X-pipes tend to give a pitchy sound. Happy modding

If you want a good sound without rasp and want cats, another great option is a Magnaflow X into Magnaflow Magnapacks. That is the setup I had on my '99 and it screamed. It sounded awesome and turned a lot of heads. I prefer Magnapacks on a 2V and there is no other option but Stinger's for a 4V.

Matt, I don't know how long you have been driving a manual but from your video it looks like you keep your hand on the shifter a lot. I know that feels like the right place to have it and it is "fun" (I used to love doing it to) but it KILLS your synchronizers in your transmission. I have rebuilt a couple trannies, and it is very apparent when a customer keeps their hand on the shifter while they drive. You may want to break that habit even though it is hard to do.
