Not that I'm building a show car but to open the box of my new throttle body and see this right on top....

Can't say I was too happy just

to the meatball in quality control who packed this and put tape on it.. HELLO

Ouch man. As the others said I would also send it back. If for whatever reason you can't though you may be able to polish it out.

i wouldn't ask for money back. might have just not been noticed, no need to tear them apart for what could have easily been a mistake

i'd just ask for a replacement one that doesn't have the scratch on it. you paid for a brand new unit after all

American Muscle is sending out a new one and a return tag for the scratched one. Thanks to NJS member AMChrisRose for his fast response and help. Great guy.
