Ok so I want to get a car cover for my 2005 coupe. I am looking for something that is a good fit and not just universal. Could anyone recommend a good one. The car will be outside throughout the year so it has to be water proof.
I have been looking at California car covers. Are they any good? I have also seen a lot of factory GT500 covers. Does anyone have experience with them? I want something good that is going to last and not cost me $500. Thanks
Calcarcovers.com is what you meant right? If so I bought two of mine from there, the 2 tone yellow/black one just for summer and just recently the Noah (keep in mind if it gets super cold out this fabric cover will stick to the car unlike the other nylon I bought(less waterproof but just as expensive). Both are good buys but pricey. AM also sells some pretty good fit covers for under $150 from Covercraft. Janice has one on her's and its still doing good. Pm me when you get a chance.
I have a Covercraft Evolution. I had to keep my Car outside for about 5 months and it worked great. You want it to be mostly waterproof, the cover does need to breath or you will get mildew/crap growing underneath. I have had it for 2.5 years, used it mostly inside the garage, but for the 5 months (June-October 2010) the water would still bead up and roll off.
I have the covercraft Noah from Moss Muscle. its about $200 and its going on 3 years and i wouldn't trade it for anything, the thing is great! i use it every snow storm and my car comes out like it was in a garage
